Katie is a passionate and affirming therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex and often deeply personal challenges of eating disorders, low self-esteem, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and addiction. With a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental presence, she creates a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, and truly valued.
Her client-centered approach serves as the foundation for meaningful and sustainable healing. She draws from a diverse range of evidence-based modalities—including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy—to meet each client exactly where they are. Katie is also Phase 1 trained in Brainspotting, a trauma-processing technique that uses focused mindfulness to help clients access and release deeply held emotional pain.
Katie is a proud and committed practitioner of Health At Every Size (HAES) principles, advocating for body respect and inclusivity in all aspects of her practice. She understands the importance of creating an environment where all bodies are treated with dignity and care, free from judgment or shame. As an affirming therapist for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Katie ensures that clients can explore their identities openly and authentically.
With compassion, clinical insight, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique journey, Katie guides clients toward a more empowered and fulfilling life—where healing is not only possible, but inevitable.
