While Misty is not accepting new clients at this time, her work continues to leave a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to engage with her care. As a trans and queer therapist, Misty brings a lived understanding and deep empathy to her practice, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their identities and challenges without fear of judgment.
Her approach to therapy is eclectic and highly personalized, rooted in a belief that healing must be tailored to the unique experiences and needs of each individual. Misty draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities—including Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—and she brings specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma-focused care.
Misty has extensive experience supporting young adults, particularly those navigating ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. Her work reflects not only clinical expertise, but also a fierce dedication to affirming and culturally competent care for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. Within her sessions, Misty creates a therapeutic environment that is not only safe and supportive but actively celebratory of each client’s identity and path.
Though her caseload is currently full, Misty's contributions to the mental health field—and especially to queer-affirming therapy—continue to ripple outward through the clients and communities she serves. Her practice is a model of inclusive, trauma-informed care that honors authenticity, fosters resilience, and inspires transformation.
